Formally known as Hidros UK, Hidros UK rebranded to EMICON-UK in 2024 inline with the groups branding and marketing strategy, having been acquired and part of ENEX Technologies Group in November 2022. Hidros was founded in Italy in 1993 as a trading company operating in the field of humidification and dehumidification. Whereas Emicon was founded in 1984 in Emilia Romagna, dedicated to the design of precision air conditioners for IT rooms.
The company later expanded its design and production to include industrial chillers, heat pumps and rooftop units 

In 2017 Emicon acquired Hidros, based in Padua and specializing in the design of high efficiency dehumidifiers, heat pumps and water chillers. Today Emicon is one of the most well-regarded Italian HVACR companies, offering a full range of products. It features a production area of 22,000 sqm in Italy, over 250 employees, 8 foreign sales offices and dozens of agents and distributors operating a national and international network.

The total range of Emicon products includes standard dehumidifiers, heat pumps and water chillers with cooling and heating capacities from 5 to 900 kW. In addition to this, we can offer a wide range of tailor made units to meet any customer requirement.
